Award ceremony Design contest “Swimming Stadium, an Olympic pool for Taranto 2026”

Friday 12th May 2023 at 10.00 am at the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto will
host the presentation and award ceremony of the winning project of the design contest
“Swimming Stadium, an Olympic pool for Taranto 2026”
In the presence of the Mayor of Taranto Rinaldo Melucci, the Regional Councillor Vincenzo Di
Gregorio, delegate to the Mediterranean Games, the General Director Elio Sannicandro and the
Regional Secretary MIC Puglia Maria Piccarreta, as president of the jury, the winning project of the
design contest of the new Swimming Stadium of Taranto will be awarded, together with the other
four finalists and two special mentions.
For the occasion, the exhibition of all 37 project proposals will be inaugurated coming from all
over Europe, some of the participating studios are in fact in London, Barcelona, Paris and Berlin.
The exhibition will be open from May 12th to 18th at the Cloister of the MArTA Museum.
