Taranto 2026 at the Award ceremony of the Azzurri FIPSAS there the Minister for Sport Andrea Abodi

Saturday, January 28th at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome was held the award ceremony of the Azzurri FIPSAS – Italian Federation of Sport Fishing Diving and Finswimming
During the celebration organized to reward the athletes the technical commissioners and all the members
of the blue delegations who won a World or European medal during 2022, The Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi and the General Manager Elio Sannicandro presented Taranto 2026 and the
importance of sport as a tool for aggregation and relaunching the Territory looking to the Mediterranean.
FIPSAS President Ugo Claudio Matteoli has made official the admission of finswimming among the sports of Taranto 2026.
Minister Abodi showed the Government’s closeness to the Organizing Committee emphasizing the significance of the extraordinary value of the Olympic event for the respect and cohesion of the peoples of the Mediterranean.
An event with important significance also for the positive legacy that the Games will leave to the host territory.
